Trần Bá Dương (born 1960 in Huế) is a Vietnamese entrepreneur and founder of THACO, a Vietnamese automobile producer.

Biography
Trần was born in 1960 in Huế. He graduated with a degree in mechanical engineering from Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology in 1983 and started working as a repair technician at Dong Nai auto repair factory. Between then and 1997, he worked his way up from mechanic to manager. In 1997, he founded THACO which has grown to be the largest domestic automobile producer.[2] In 2013, he stepped down as CEO of THACO, but kept a function as chairman. Trần and his family keep a majority stake in THACO.[3]
