Typhoon Ferdie

The name Frank has been used by PAGASA to name storms that form or enter in their Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR). Frank is a male name.

-Typhoon Conson (2004) (Frank)- A major typhoon which first formed in the West Philippine Sea, and headed north to Japan.

-Typhoon Fengshen (2008) (Frank)- A major typhoon whose had an unpredicted direction, leading to many deaths in the Philippines, and eventually, its retirement.

The name Ferdie has been used in the Philippines by PAGASA in the Western Pacific Ocean, after the name Frank was retired, after Typhoon Fengshen claimed many lives in its unpredicted track through the Philippines.
