USS Mobile (LCS-26)

USS Mobile (LCS-26) will be an Independence-class littoral combat ship of the United States Navy.[1][6] She will be the fifth ship to be named Mobile.[7][8]

Mobile was built by Austal USA at their shipyard in Mobile, Alabama .[9][10] The Navy accepted delivery of Mobile from the shipbuilder on 9 December 2020, during a ceremony held at the Austal USA shipyards. As of December 2020, The Navy plans to hold a commissioning ceremony for Mobile in spring 2021.[11]
