Ubi MRT station
Ubi MRT station is an underground Mass Rapid Transit station on the Downtown Line in Geylang planning area, Singapore, located near the junction of Ubi Avenue 1 and Ubi Avenue 2. The station serves mainly industrial workers, and residents, in and around the Kampong Ubi estate. It also provides easier access to two schools, Maha Bodhi School and Manjusri Secondary School. By 2022, the station will also serve the upcoming Ubi Grove neighbourhood.[3]

History
Construction had started with various road realignment works beginning in September 2011.
The station opened on 21 October 2017, as announced by the Land Transport Authority on 31 May 2017.[4]
