Ujjwal Raman Singh

Ujjwal Raman Singh is an Indian politician and a member of 17th Legislative Assembly of Uttar Pradesh of India. He represents the Karchana constituency of Uttar Pradesh and is a member of the Samajwadi party.[2] His father Rewati Raman Singh is a member of the Rajya Sabha and a senior leader of Samajwadi Party. His father was elected as member of legislative assembly of karchhana constituency more than seven times and also got elected as member of parliament twice from Allahabad.

Political career

Ujjwal Raman Singh is a member of the Legislative Assembly of Uttar Pradesh . He belongs to a royal family and is the Prince of Baraon state in Allahabad and also a member of the Samajwadi Party.[1] He was elected as an MLA from Karchana in 2004 as his father left the seat after becoming an MP.

Singh had also served the state as the environment minister in Mulayam Singh Yadav's government and launched Compressed natural gas in Agra, Lucknow and Kanpur. He is also an Advocate and social activist.
