Uncomfortable (song)

"Uncomfortable" is a song by American rock band Halestorm, released as the first single from their 2018 fourth studio album, Vicious. The song was recorded in Rock Falcon Studios.[8] The song also had a music video which was directed by Evan Brace.[9][8] The song was produced by Nick Raskulinecz, who has also worked with bands such as Rush, Alice in Chains, Ghost,[6] and the Foo Fighters.[10] It also received a nomination for the Grammy Award for Best Rock Performance.

Background

Metal Injection stated that "it has all the ingredients for a great pop metal song that will surely be all over rock radio and SiriusXM Octane all this summer."[3] When asked about the fan response to the new single, and whether the bandmembers get nervous every time they are about to release new music, Lzzy said:

"It's kind of like purgatory, because you've kind of released something, but it's not all out there and some people have heard it. And the weirdest thing, 'cause we do pre… You don't expect the worst, but you're prepared for the worst, 'cause you never know — you put out something [and] everyone could hate it; I don't know. But it's been overwhelmingly positive, and I'm still, like, 'Where's the catch? What's happening here?' There were even some [positive] comments on Blabbermouth, which never happens, so I was, like, 'What's going on here?' [Laughs]"[11]
