This is one of the names of Lord Vishnu in Hindu mythology. The name of Vaibhavwadi, a tehsil in the Kankavli subdivision of Sindhudurg district, Maharashtra, also originated from this name. Vaibhav Lakshmi is one of the manifestations of Lakshmi.[4]
