Virginia's 28th Senate district
Virginia's 28th Senate district is one of 40 districts in the Senate of Virginia. It has been represented by Republican Senator Richard Stuart since 2008.

Geography
District 28 stretches from the far reaches of the D.C. metropolitan area to the Northern Neck, incorporating parts of Prince William, Stafford, Spotsylvania, King George, and Westmoreland Counties.[3]
The district overlaps with U.S. congressional districts 1, 7, and 10, and Virginia House of Delegates districts 2, 13, 28, 31, 40, 50, 51, 54, 87, 88, and 99.[4]
