Vivienne Roumani
Vivienne Roumani-Denn (born 1950) is a Libyan filmmaker.[1] She is notable as the director of critically acclaim films The Last Jews of Libya and Out of Print.[2] Apart from filmmaking, she is also an oral historian, producer, cinematographer, engaging speaker and writer.

Personal life
She was born in Benghazi, Libya, in 1950.[3] At the age of 12, she emigrated with her family to Boston due to political unrest in Libya. She is married in 1999 and currently lives in New York City. She worked as the director at the Library of Congress, Johns Hopkins University and the University of California, Berkeley Libraries.[4] In 1999, she served as Executive Director of the American Sephardi Federation, founding the Sephardic Library and Archives.[5]
Career
In 2007, Roumani made her maiden documentary film The Last Jews of Libya with the help of her son Aryeh Bourkoff who told her to document the family's life in Libya.[6] The film narrated by Isabella Rossellini, had its U.S. premiere at the 2007 Tribeca Film Festival. The film gained critical acclaim and screened at several film festivals.[7]
In 2013, she made the documentary Out of Print.[8]
