History

In March 2020, general manager Phil Hunt announced that WNPV would cease broadcasting at the end of April. In a statement, he said, "In recent years, it has become increasingly difficult to compete for both audience and advertising dollars, and unfortunately it is no longer sustainable to continue to run the business in a way that delivers the service our community expects and deserves."[2] The station sold off its studio and broadcast tower to a school district in July.[3] Its license was donated to Four Rivers Community Broadcasting in October.[4]
