Waiphot Phetsuphan

Phan Sakunni (Thai: พาน สกุลณี), best known by the stage name Waiphot Phetsuphan (Thai: ไวพจน์ เพชรสุพรรณ), is a luk thung singer and National Artist of Thailand[1] in 1997.

He was born on March 7, 1942, in Suphan Buri Province. He is of Laotian descent. He became a singer in 1962.[2]

His popular songs include "Taeng Thao Tai" (แตงเถาตาย), "Fang Khao Thit Kaeo" (ฟังข่าวทิดแก้ว), "Baeng Sombat" (แบ่งสมบัติ), "Ding Ding Dong" (ดิ๊งดิ๊งด่อง), etc.
