When the head coach Rachid Taoussi was sacked on 1 October 2013, his contract was also terminated. On 8 May 2014, he landed a head coaching job with Fath Union Sport for the 2014–15 season.[3] On 22 January 2020, he left the club by mutual consent.[4]

On 23 January 2020, Regragui was appointed as the head coach of Qatar Stars League side Al-Duhail, he came in to replace Rui Faria.[5] He was sacked on 30 September 2020 after their AFC Champions League group stage exit.[6]
