Lamb never experienced a win in his league career, only a draw, which came on his debut.[3] In either 1993 or 1994, Lamb did not play any senior AFL games.[3] He made most of his AFL appearances in the 1995 season for Fitzroy, playing 16 games.[3]
His son, Tom Lamb, currently plays for the West Coast Eagles.[4] His father-in-law, Ian Cooper, played for St Kilda.
