Wildpark Poing

Wildpark Poing is a Wildlife Park located in Poing, Bavaria to the north west of Munich.[1][2]

History

The park was founded privately in 1959, on the eastern side of Poing. The park was open for general admission in 1970.[3]

Park

The park is laid out along a circular route, with one of the main attractions being the Birds of prey show. The park also features a playground, picnic area and an educational forest trail.

Since the beginning of 2007, a brown bear named Mia from Sweden has been housed in a new enclosure in the park with her three offspring Maja, Mette and Molly.[4]
