Early life and high school career

Anderson grew up in Hampton, Georgia and attended Dutchtown High School. As a senior, he recorded 22 sacks with 15 additional tackles for loss and was named to the The Atlanta Journal-Constitution "Super 11" as well as first team All-State and played in the 2020 All-American Bowl.[1][2][3] Anderson committed to play college football at Alabama over offers from Auburn, LSU and Tennessee.[4][5]

College career

Anderson was named a starter at outside linebacker going into true freshman season.[6][7][8]
