William A. Ellis

William Allen Ellis (April 23, 1828 – November 21, 1900) was an American politician. He was a member of the Wisconsin State Senate, representing Wisconsin's 1st Senate District. He was a member of the Republican Party.[1]

Ellis was born in Topsham, Maine, and later moved to Peshtigo, Wisconsin. He worked as a superintendent for the Peshtigo Lumber Company. He also served as the local postmaster for a time, and also served on the town and county boards.[1] He died in Peshtigo on November 21, 1900.[2][3]
