William Davis Taylor

William Davis Taylor (April 2, 1908 – February 19, 2002)[1][2] was a newspaper executive who was publisher of the Boston Globe from 1955 to 1978. He died on February 19, 2002 in Brookline, Massachusetts.

Taylor was the third of five family members starting with Charles Taylor who led the paper from the 1870s until, and beyond, its acquisition by the New York Times Company in 1993.[3]
