Workiejmy

Workiejmy [vɔrˈkʲɛi̯mɨ] (German: Workeim) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Lidzbark Warmiński, within Lidzbark County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland.[1] It lies approximately 13 kilometres (8 mi) north-west of Lidzbark Warmiński and 47 km (29 mi) north of the regional capital Olsztyn.

Until the First Partition of Poland in 1772, the area was part of the Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth. The village then became part of East Prussia within the Kingdom of Prussia and later Germany. In 1945, with the end of World War II, it was ceded to Poland as part of the Recovered Territories.
