World Trigger (season 2)

World Trigger is a Japanese anime series based on the manga series of the same name written and illustrated by Daisuke Ashihara. During Jump Festa '20, it was announced that the series will receive a second season, with the cast reprising their roles.[1] Toei Animation is returning to produce the anime.[2][3] Morio Hatano is the new series director, while the rest of the staff are reprising their roles.[4] The second season premiered on TV Asahi's NUMAnimation block on January 10, 2021.[5] The opening theme is "Force" performed by TOMORROW X TOGETHER, and the ending theme is "Future Eternity" (未来永劫, "Mirai Eigō") performed by "Kami wa Saikoro o Furanai" (神はサイコロを振らない).[6]
