Zach Whiting
Zach Whiting (born December 17, 1987) is the Iowa State Senator from the 1st District.[1] A Republican, he has served in the Iowa Senate since 2019. He currently resides in Spirit Lake, Iowa with his wife Juliana and his two kids.[2]

As of February 2020, Whiting serves on the following committees: Labor and Business Relations (Vice Chair), Government Oversight, Judiciary, State Government, and Transportation. He also serves on the Administration and Regulation Appropriations Subcommittee, as well as the Administrative Rules Review Committee, Tax Credit Review Committee, and the Human Rights Board.[1]
Whiting was elected in 2018 with 21,245 votes, running unopposed.[3]
