Ziradei (also spelt Jiradei) is one of the administrative divisions of Siwan district in the Indian state of Bihar.

History and people
A great freedom fighter Pandit Baidya Nath Mishra was born at Khargirampur, Ziradei. He was fighting with Dr. Rajendra for free India. He was also the part of Quit India moment. A Statues has made up of his memory near his village Khargirampur. He was the great symbol of non-violence. He was also the member while constitution of India was building up. He was born in 1905 and died on 9 April 2001. He met with Mahatma Gandhi (before Dr. Rajendra Prasad) to fully involve in Indian freedom movements. Rajendra Prasad, the first President of India was from Ziradei.

Personalities
- Dr. Rajendra Prasad, the first President of India, was born at Ziradei on 3 December 1884. Pandit Baidyanath Mishra was born on 26 July 1905 at Khargirampur near Ziradei. [2]
- Mithilesh Kumar Srivastava, better known as Natwarlal, was a noted Indian con man known for having repeatedly "sold" the Taj Mahal, the Red Fort, and the Rashtrapati Bhavan and also the Parliament House of India along with its 545 sitting members. He was also born in Bangra a small village in Ziradei constituency Siwan, by profession he was a lawyer before he turned into a conman.[3]
