1943 Chicago Cardinals season

The 1943 Chicago Cardinals season was the 24th season the team was in the league. The team failed to improve on their previous output of 3–8, losing all ten games.[1] They failed to qualify for the playoffs for the 18th consecutive season. The 1943 Cardinals were the first team in NFL history to go winless in a season. This dubious distinction has since been matched by 6 other teams, including the Cardinals themselves in a merge with the Pittsburgh Steelers the next season.
