1984 Wimbledon Championships – Men's Singles

John McEnroe successfully defended his title, taking 80 minutes to defeat Jimmy Connors in the final, 6–1, 6–1, 6–2 winning him his third Gentlemen's Singles tennis title at the 1984 Wimbledon Championships.[1] This final match was for a long time referred to as the greatest display of tennis;[2] McEnroe made just four unforced errors during the entire match (non in the first set).
