Notes

  1. Following his engine change, Rossi started the race from pit lane ten seconds after the race start because of the engine change limit rule which restricts each rider to six engines per season.[2]
  2. Salom and Cortese, who finished in fourth and sixth position, lost one position for overtaking under yellow flags.[6]

Championship standings after the race (MotoGP)

Below are the standings for the top five riders and constructors after round fourteen has concluded.[7]

  • Note: Only the top five positions are included for both sets of standings.
