2016 Tennessee State Tigers football team

The 2016 Tennessee State Tigers football team represented Tennessee State University in the 2016 NCAA Division I FCS football season. They were led by seventh-year head coach Rod Reed and played their home games at Nissan Stadium and Hale Stadium. They were members of the Ohio Valley Conference. They finished the season 7–4, 4–3 in OVC play to finish in fourth place.
