Agnieszka Kotlarska

Agnieszka Kotlarska (August 15, 1972, Wrocław – August 27, 1996, Wrocław) was a Polish fashion model. She was the first Polish winner of the Miss International beauty pageant in 1991.

Life after Miss International

She went on to pursue a modeling career in New York for the likes of Ralph Lauren and Calvin Klein, before returning to Poland to settle in Wrocław.[1]

Death

Agnieszka was stabbed to death by a stalker on August 27, 1996. The attack also injured her husband, Jarosław Świątek.[2] Her 2-year-old daughter was a witness to the attack.
