Alène

The Alène is a 55.9-kilometre (34.7 mi) long river in the Nièvre department in central France.[1] Its source is at Poil, about 3 kilometres (2 mi) west of the village, in the parc naturel régional du Morvan. It flows generally west. It is a left tributary of the Aron, into which it flows at Cercy-la-Tour, about 15 kilometres (9 mi) east-northeast of Decize.
