All Out Politics

The show came to fruition after a schedule change saw Adam Boulton depart Sky News Tonight, with Dermot Murnaghan taking over that slot. All Out Politics began airing as an hour long format; from 10 am each day. A schedule change in October 2019 saw the show extended to air for two hours each day and move to an earlier 9 am time slot.

As of September 2020, as part of a further schedule change, the show returned to an hour long format airing daily at the later time of 11 am until 12 noon. On Wednesdays, when the UK parliament is sitting, the show broadcasts until 1 pm in order to incorporate Prime Minister's Questions and provide analysis thereafter.

When Adam Boulton isn't available Sophy Ridge has typically been the most frequent stand in presenter whilst Beth Rigby has on occasion covered the programme. Following the move to 11 am in September 2020, Sky News Today anchors Colin Brazier and Jayne Secker have also covered the programme; on these occasions it has generally been broadcast from Sky's main Osterley studios as opposed to the Westminster studio.

The show doesn't always air during times when the UK parliament is on recess - such as at Christmas, Easter or during the main summer period - unless there is a developing political news event. Since September 2020, Sky News Today occasionally airs an hour earlier from 11 am to 2 pm; filling the All Out Politics time slot.
