As the Love Continues

As the Love Continues is the tenth studio album by Scottish post-rock band Mogwai, to be released on 19 February 2021 on Rock Action Records in the UK and Europe, and Temporary Residence Limited in the USA.[1] The release date is the exact 25th anniversary of the release of Mogwai's first single, "Tuner/Lower".[2]

Overview

The album is the successor to 2017's Every Country's Sun, and was again produced by Dave Fridmann. However, due to the COVID pandemic, the album was recorded at Vale Studios in the UK, with Fridmann producing remotely from the United States.[2] It features a contribution from Colin Stetson.[2] A single, "Dry Fantasy" was released for download on 29 October 2020.[3]

The album is being released on CD and via download with 11 tracks. Deluxe versions are also available, which contain the album on CD and vinyl, one of which features a 12" bonus disc containing five unreleased demos.[4]
