Background and release
The three-track EP appeared on Apple Music servers in New Zealand unexpectedly on 30 October 2020.[1] The songs on the EP are performed acoustically. The EP provides the first "live" performance of "Magic", the second single from Disco as well as a performance of the acoustic version of the lead single "Say Something". Kylie sang with the songs' respective producers on each track; Teema Brunila and Jon Green. Minogue made the official announcement on her social channels on the day of release [2]
In addition to this, an acoustic version of fellow Australian Troye Sivan's song "Cool", from his debut studio album Blue Neighbourhood, was also performed for the EP.
