Awa Province (Tokushima)
Awa Province (阿波国, Awa-no kuni) was an old province of Japan in the area that is today Tokushima Prefecture on Shikoku.[1] Awa was bordered by Tosa, Sanuki, and Iyo Provinces. It was sometimes called Ashū (阿州) .
