Azarshahr

Azarshahr (Persian: آذرشهر; also Romanized as Āz̄arshahr, Âzaršahr, Azərşəhr, or Āz̄ar Shahr; also known as Tufarqan (Persian: توفارقان), also Romanized as Dehkhvāreqān) [2] is a city and capital of Azarshahr County, East Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 44,887.[3]

Azarshahr lies in the south west of the Sahand Mountain.

The historical name of this city is Tufarqan. The predominant language spoken in Azarshahr is Azerbaijani.

■Azarshahr Flood:

In 1996, on the eve of the early afternoon, a rainy long (about 9 hours) rain was built on the Azarshahr bridge in a large slalom, in which there was flood, tree, large gems, car, and Adam bodies. More than 20 people died in the flood in Azarshahr. This news was broadcast on Iran's audio and television news and Niki I became the queen of this city after this tragedy.

■ Liquor House:

At the time of the Imperial Palace, a liquor house was in Azarshahr, but was then destroyed and sealed by the soldiers at the command of the Adjara governor of the eastern Adjara. This place is located near Azarshahr Square

■ Niki I:
