Bălan, Sălaj
Bălan is a commune located in Sălaj County, Crișana, Romania. It is composed of five villages: Bălan, Chechiș, Chendrea, Gălpâia and Gâlgău Almaşului. It is situated on the Almaș River, a tributary of the Someș River.
