Baliodryas
Baliodryas steinbachi is a species of snake in the family Colubridae. The species, which is monotypic in the genus Baliodryas, is endemic to South America.

Etymology
The specific name, steinbachi is in honor of Dr. Jose Steinbach (1856–1929), who collected biological specimens in South America.[3]
Habitat
The preferred natural habitat of B. steinbachi is forest, at an altitude of 250 m (820 ft).[1]
