Balke Church
Balke church is a Long church[1] from 1170[2] in Østre Toten municipality, Innlandet county, Norway. It is in Østre Toten Clerical District, Toten Deanery, Hamar Diocese. It is located about 1 mile north of the village of Skreia.[3]

The structure is a medieval stone church and it has 290 seats.[4] The church has Romanesque, Norman and early Gothic style. The church was extended to the west with the New Church in 1714.
The altarpiece is often called the Mari board and is unique in its kind in Norway. The artist community at Balke church has given names to the Balkeskolen. A crucifix and a number of saint figures from the church can be found in the Oldsaksamlingen in Oslo.
