Battle 4 Atlantis
The Battle 4 Atlantis (branded as the Bad Boy Mowers Battle 4 Atlantis for sponsorship reasons) is an early-season college basketball tournament that takes place in late November of each year, at Atlantis Paradise Island on Paradise Island in Nassau, Bahamas, on the week of the US holiday of Thanksgiving. The games are played in the Imperial Arena, a grand ballroom which is turned into a basketball venue.[1] The tournament is known for being the richest Division I men's early-season college basketball tournament. Schools are awarded $2 million in exchange for their participation in the men's event.[2]

In 2020, the tournament was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, which was scheduled to include a women's tournament which also would have featured eight teams.[3][4] Most of the teams that were originally invited to compete in the men's tournament (besides the Duke Blue Devils) were invited to participate in a separately-organized replacement event, the Crossover Classic, at the Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.[5]
