Beardwood
Beardwood is a village suburb of Blackburn in Lancashire, England. It is relatively close to the village of Mellor, and has a local high school. It is a few miles away from Blackburn Town Centre, on the western edge of the town. It has a private hospital operated by BMI, which is called The Beardwood Hospital.[1] An new ambulatory care unit was opened in the hospital, in July 2012.[2]

The Tauheedul Islam Girls' High School was scheduled to move to Beardwood in September 2013.[3] The school opened on schedule.[4][5]
