Bhumidhar Barman

Bhumidhar Barman (born 12 October 1931) is an Indian Politician belonging to the Indian National Congress. He was the Chief Minister of Assam from 22 April 1996 to 14 May 1996.[1] He has been a member of the Assam Legislative Assembly being elected 7 times. He was first elected in 1967.[2][3][4] In 2015, he was made a Cabinet Minister of Assam.
