Carmel Christian School, Bristol

Carmel Christian School (CCS) is an independent Early Year's provider in Brislington, Bristol, England. Founded in 2000,[1] the school originally provided all-through education, then in late 2020 became a facility solely for nursery and reception children.

The vision of Carmel Christian School focuses on 'laying foundations for life's journey' through biblical morals, a love of learning and personal development.[2]

The setting openly promotes a Christian ethos and worldview while delivering the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum. Staff regularly evaluate their practice through The Bristol Standard, which is recognised nationally as an outstanding evaluation framework.[3]

The school's values are encompassed in the acronym 'HEART'. They are: Honesty, Excellence and enjoyment, Agape love, Respect and Teamwork.[4]
