History
Orchard School Bristol is a secondary school located in the Horfield area of Bristol.
The original school buildings were built in the 1950s and were demolished when the school was rebuilt and opened for teaching in September 2005.
In September 2005 the school was awarded Specialist School Status, with a combined specialism in Humanities (Social Science) and Modern Foreign Languages.
The school then became a foundation school with educational partners City of Bristol College, University of West of England and the Local Authority Bristol City Council.
The school became an academy as part of Trust in Learning in September 2012.
Uniform
Orchard School's student uniform consists of a white shirt with own house tie, school blazer, black trousers or skirt and plain black shoes.
