History

The school was founded in 1901 as Holy Trinity School, established by Holy Family Catholic Church in Hartington. In 1964, the school added support from other area parishes and changed its name to Cedar Catholic.[1] The elementary school retains the Holy Trinity name.

Athletics

Cedar Catholic is a member of the Nebraska School Activities Association. The school has won the following NSAA state championships:[2]
