This train runs through the chord line Chengalpattu, Villupuram, Vridhachalam, Trichy, Dindigul, Madurai, Virudhunagar, Satur, Kovilpatti, Tirunelveli, Valliyur, Nagercoil junction and Kanyakumari. In return, it stops at Mambalam also.
