It was formerly known as Super Radyo under GMA Network from 1995 to 2010, when it closed down due to resource problems.[3] In March 2011, DXBB was acquired by Soccsksargen Broadcasting Network, a company owned by some of Manny Pacquiao's friends, and was relaunched as Radyo Alerto. It was an affiliate of GMA's Super Radyo DZBB 594.[4] It went off the air sometime in 2019.
