Darbar Baba Nu Lakh Hazari

Darbar Baba Nu Lakh Hazari is a Sufi shrine situated in the city of Shahkot in the Nankana Sahib District, Pakistan.[1][2]The shrine was built in the 12th century to honor Abu Alkhair Syed Murad Ali Shah Bukharai Aka Noulakha (حضرت سید مراد علی شاہ صاحب المعروف داتا نولکھ ہزاری رحمۃ اللہ علیہ), who came to the Shahkot area in that century to spread Islam. "Nou lakh"(ਬਣੋ ਲੱਖ )is the Punjabi phrase for "nine hundred thousands". Noulakha received this name as it is believed by the peoples in the area that during his lifetime, he recited the Holy Quran nine hundred thousand times.[3]

There is a mountain near the shrine.[4] Every year on 23 March there is a gathering to celebrate the Urs of Baba Nu Lakh Hazari.[5]
