Darmadi

Darmadi (formerly known as Wong Pek Sen 黄培森 ) is a former Indonesian badminton player specializing in men's singles, men's doubles and mixed doubles from the 60s to 70s.

Career

He started his badminton career by following Badminton at the 1966 Asian Games in Bangkok. He managed to bring home two silver medals from the men's singles [1] and bronze medals from the mixed doubles.[2] He and with the men's team also succeeded in bringing Indonesia to conquer Malaysia in the third 1969 Asian Badminton Championships in the Philippines for the first time.[3] He also succeeded in making Indonesia proud in the international badminton tournament, namely men's Doubles. with Muljadi at the French Open.[4] and mixed Doubles with Minarni in Canada Open and others.[5] Darmadi and the Indonesian men's team also succeeded in bringing Indonesia back to the winner of the 1970 Thomas Cup men's team championship after defeating Malaysia in the Final.[6]
