Der Rufer

Der Rufer (lit. 'The Caller') is a bronze sculpture by Gerhard Marcks. One statue is installed in the Tiergarten in Berlin, Germany.[1] Others are installed in Bremen, Germany, and Perth, Western Australia.[2][3] The statue is of a barefooted man in a robe, cupping his hands to his mouth as if shouting, and is dedicated to victims and survivors of torture.[4]
