History

It was incorporated on 11 June 2015. The Government of Pakistan is the major stakeholder.[1][2]

Export-Import Bank of Pakistan (EXIMBP) Bill was approved by Federal Cabinet of Pakistan.[3][2]

The EXIM Bank of Pakistan has appointed a Islamic bank as consultant to advise it on preparing shariah compliant trade finance, insurance products and services to prepare the bank to launch operations.[4]
