Eagle Bridge is also the name used by the United States Postal Service to identify ZIP code 12057.[1] This ZIP code is in the vicinity of Eagle Bridge hamlet; It includes part of the town of Hoosick in Rensselaer County and most of the town of White Creek in neighboring Washington County.[2][3]
History
The community was named after the eagle for patriotic reasons.[4] The hamlet was served by the Rutland and Washington Railroad.
Notable person
American painter Grandma Moses was a long-time resident of Eagle Bridge.[5]
