Elba Rashani

Elbasan Rashani (born 9 May 1993), commonly known as Elba Rashani is a Kosovan professional footballer who plays as a forward for Turkish club BB Erzurumspor and the Kosovo national team, he previously played for Norway national under-21 football team.

Club career

Odd

Rashani was born in Sweden to Kosovar emigrants, but grew up in Kragerø and Bø i Telemark in Norway and played for Skarphedin before he joined the then named football club Odd Grenland ahead of the 2010 season.[1][2]

Brøndby

On 24 Juli 2014, Rashani made a €660K transfer from the Norwegian side Odd and signed a four-year-contract with the Danish club Brøndby which tied him to the club until the summer 2018. He was handed jersey number 14.[3][4] On 31 July Rashani made his Europa League debut when he was brought in for the final fourteen minutes in the 3–0 away defeat against the Belgium side Club Brugge.

Rosenborg

In January 2016, Rashani went out on loan to Rosenborg, with Rosenborg having the option to buy.[5] At the end of the 2016 season the move was made permanent with Rashani signing a two-year deal with Rosenborg.[6]

International career

Rashani was born in Sweden to Kosovan parents, and was brought up in Norway. He represented Norway as a youth. In July 2015 Rashani told the Albanian media that he is looking forward to a call up from Albania's coach Gianni de Biasi.[7] However, he ended up getting a callup with the Kosovo national team and made his debut, where he also scored his debut goal, in a friendly 2–2 tie with Albania.[8]
