History
While studying for master's degree in part-time in Singapore's university and working a full-time job, Wendy Liu and her team founded the company and launch the website on year 2010 in Singapore, and named the company as 65daigou. The company later renamed as Ezbuy on year 2016.[4][5]
Service
Ezbuy provides the service for consumers to make order on Ezbuy website or app, and Ezbuy will purchase the goods from Taobao or other website and deliver the goods to the consumer. The company purchase and handle orders for their consumers on websites from Japan, Taiwan, United States, and China.[6]
Incident
On 11 November 2017, Alibaba Group closed more than 1000 Taobao accounts which belongs to Ezbuy on the 11.11 sale festival day. The closed account was used by Ezbuy to purchase products on Taobao e-commerce website. It resulted in many services on Ezbuy to stopped. Alibaba Group claimed that Ezbuy's business practice was an act of scalping and is unfair to Alibaba's customers. One of the Ezbuy founder, He Jian, responded to Alibaba Group's claim by writing an open letter to Alibaba Group's founder, Jack Ma, and accused Alibaba Group for bullying in the letter.[7][8]
